What would you give to start your horse the RIGHT way?
How would it feel to know that you are giving your horse the very best start in life? To build a special relationship that will last a lifetime?
How much would you give to learn techniques in horse handling which will set you up for life? Techniques you can use in every aspect of your future horsemanship?
Horses that are started on the Talkinghorses’ First Flight Breaking-In Course are quiet, relaxed, calm, and ready to ride away on. The course is also suitable for re-educating problem horses.
In the first week we concentrate on teaching you and your horse the six basic groundwork skills and cover bareback riding. In week two you’ll be riding in the saddle, and, depending on your progress, learning how to make your horse soft and responsive through steering exercises and safety stops. By the last day we aim to ride to the beach followed by an end of course lunch. Each day begins at 10am and finishes at around 3pm, with a break for lunch. Read more about the last course.
But don’t just take our word for it. This is what people like you have said:
