This is your chance to buy a horse that will wow the field. TalkingGiant is a 7 year old stationbred/irish hunter cross born and raised on Mount Nicholas station.
He was been broken in at Sudbury Fields a year ago and is fantastic to handle in every way.
Giant stands at 17.3hh and still needs work to build up his muscle. We have been taking him slowly and as a result he is a lovely, calm and honest ride.
Giant has spent the last six months hacking out - across the farm, along the beach, in the sea, through the forest, along the road and he is great in traffic.
We have focused on slowly building Giant up as he is a big boy. He is now balanced in the trot and his canter is improving fast. We think he has potential to do well in dressage as he has naturally good carriage and a super attitude. He has a small scar on his back leg which would be easily covered by make-up if you wanted to show him!
Giant loves lots of rides out especially to paddle in the sea on the beach.
This is where Giant was born and spent the first three years of his life - on Mount Nicholas station in Queenstown. It is a 100,000 acre station made up of snowy mountains, flats and unwelcoming peaks. The horses have to be agile and tough to cope with the conditions.
